They know their local markets intimately and each has decades of experience running their own businesses as well as working for large corporations.

Managing Director Nigel Gibbins and principal partners Roger EberhardJim Bell and Tim Wilkin collectively have more than 100 years’ experience in property valuations.

Nigel Gibbins, AAPI

Nigel Gibbins is an experienced property valuer with over 20 years valuation experience with Associate Membership to the Australian Property Institute. Nigel studied at the University of South Australia and has worked as a valuer in South Australia (based at Barossa Valley, Adelaide, and Clare), Mildura Victoria (covering the region since 2003), Northern Territory (Darwin and Alice Springs), NSW (Government contracts Deniliquin and Wagga Wagga) and Queensland (Cairns) before establishing his own valuation business which has offices in Nuriootpa, Port Pirie, Mildura, Clare, Victor Harbor and Naracoorte.

During his career Nigel’s valuations assignments have included the following property classes;

At Inval Property Valuations Nigel’s is positioned at the Barossa and Mildura offices and is focused on servicing the Barossa, Mildura/Sunraysia, Riverland  and Clare Valley regions. As director Nigel oversees all the firms work for South Australia, Victoria and NSW south west region.

Personally, Nigel is an owner of a broad acre farm located in the Mallee with a mix of dry land cropping, sheep, and cattle; and Nigel also has past experience of vintage harvest work in the Barossa. This has provided continual exposure within the agriculture industry.

Sam Keane, AAPI

Sam Keane is an experienced property valuer with over 9 years’ valuation experience in both the private and public sectors. Sam has extensive regional knowledge having grown up in a real estate family in Port Pirie, and began working with Inval Property Valuations in 2021 as a Senior Valuer in our Port Pirie office. As a Certified Practising Valuer Sam undertakes residential, rural residential, commercial, and industrial property valuations predominately for mortgage security, mortgagee in possession, pre-purchase, pre-sale, and financial reporting.

Sam prides himself on strong local knowledge, with Sam’s areas of coverage including the Northern Regions (Port Pirie, Port August, Whyalla), Mid North,  and Yorke Peninsula. During his career Sam’s valuation assignments have included the following property classes;

Jim Bell, AAPI

Jim Bell is an experienced property valuer with over 30 years’ property experience in the states Mid to Far North regions. Jim is based in Port Pirie and also grew up in the area. Jim’s area of coverage is the Iron Triangle region and the far north of the state and includes Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Whyalla, Roxby Downs, Coober Pedy, and mid-north areas including Peterborough, Jamestown, Quorn, Laura, Melrose, Orroroo, Crystal Brook and Port Broughton. He also does work in the far north of the state when required, including Marree, Oodnadatta, William Creek, Blinman etc.

Jim’s strengths include strong local knowledge, having lived and worked in this area for many years; an ability to provide a fast service in his area due to being well located to provide timely services; consistency through providing ongoing regular work to the areas he covers; the flexibility to provide services to areas at the request of customers; and the ability to provide a service at a cost effective rate.

Jim has a strong residential and rural residential valuation back-ground, along with extensive knowledge in providing agri and commercial valuation in the northern regions.

At Inval Property Valuations Jims focus is on servicing the Northern Regions, servicing all property types but with a focus on residential mortgage valuations.

Roger Eberhard, AAPI

Son of a Mid North farmer, Roger completed his Degree in Agricultural Science at the University of Adelaide before beginning his career at the Commonwealth Development Bank in Naracoorte. A well-known figure in the South-East, he worked for local company Neil Ottoson Real Estate and gained his Diploma in Valuations at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology before starting his own practice, Eberhard Valuations in 1997. Roger later sold the business to local stock agency Thomas DeGaris & Clarkson, working for them until 2017.

An Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute with over 40 years’ experience, Roger’s valuation assignments have included the following property classes:

  • Agricultural (vineyards and wineries, grazing, irrigation, dairy farms and dry land farming operations)

  • Prestige ocean-front residential properties

Located in Naracoorte and considered a local authority on property valuation, not surprisingly, Roger’s focus in on servicing the needs and all property types in the Limestone Coast region.

Cassandra Fuller AAPI

Cassie Fuller has 17 years of experience as a Valuer and has been an Associate member of the Australian property institute for 15 of those years. Cassie has robust regional experience in the Valuation field including undertaking valuations for private sector clients of commercial, industrial, rural and residential property. In addition to this she undertaken valuations for rating and taxing purposes for Land Services SA in accordance with the Valuation of Land Act 1971.

During her career Cassie’s valuations assignments have included the following property classes:

Tim Wilkin, AAPI

Tim has extensive valuation, retail property development and leasing experience with organisations including Raine & Horne, Colliers International, Woolworths and Wesfarmers. Tim also held interests in his own wine business and a Hotel, keeping him connected to real time industry issues faced by today’s business owners within these sectors.

An Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute, Tim has over 20 years’ experience across South Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland. During that time, his valuation assignments included the following property classes:
